Cairo University Eco-Racing Team is beyond proud and grateful to announce a remarkable achievement: securing 3rd Place Globally in the Shell Eco-Marathon Autonomous Programming Competition, one of the world’s most prestigious and competitive challenges in the field of autonomous vehicle programming. This recognition marks not only a victory for our team but also a milestone for Egyptian engineering talent competing on an international stage. Over the past months, our team invested countless hours of work, research, and rigorous testing to deliver a project that demonstrates technical excellence, innovative problem-solving, and strong teamwork.
A Shell Eco-Marathon Challenge. STEM students from around the world were challenged on a mission to design a sustainable, energy-efficient car that is designed for the modern world. “With imagination as the only limit, how will an iconic car of the ’80s inspire the car of the future once again?”. AVIC Unleashed. So, the team unleashed their creativity in this challenge. THEY MADE AVIC. AVIC, a car from the future. He was developed to eliminate any problems a human face on a daily basis.
Introduction: In the fast-paced world of Eco racing, where speed and competition reign supreme, there exists a team that embraces a different kind of race—one focused on spreading hope, joy, and inspiration. Our eco racing team had the incredible opportunity to visit the Children’s Cancer Hospital 57357 in Cairo, Egypt, not once but twice, in both 2021 and 2022. This article recounts our heartwarming experiences during these visits and the profound impact they had on both our team and the incredible children we had the privilege of meeting.

Schools, as the crucibles where young minds are forged, became our chosen avenue for spreading awareness.
In the pursuit of excellence, the Cairo University Eco Racing Team (CUERT) has set a significant goal over the past few years – winning the coveted Communication Award. Each member of our dedicated team has been resolute in turning this aspiration into reality, and we are proud to say that our collective efforts have borne fruit in 2015, 2021, and 2022. In the inaugural year of 2015, CUERT secured the 1st place in the competition, a testament to our commitment to innovation and sustainability.

Media holds great influence over almost everything, shaping public opinion and behaviors through various forms such as television, newspapers, and the internet. It plays a significant role in shaping our perceptions of the world, influencing our beliefs, values, and decision-making processes. Communication is a top priority for our team, alongside the technical aspects. As we are dedicated to both racing and the environment, aiming to cover the longest distance with the least possible energy, we also prioritize engaging with society.
